Finally got around to putting my Oppo sticker on today. Also, just got a Sub Pop one in the mail with an album so that seemed like a fitting sticker mate.

They make regula Cherokees?
Were they ever just Cherokees? Or were there always the Grand Cherokees?
I only ask since I have never seen or heard of just a Cherokee.

Wait, for real?
Yes. Starting in 1984 Jeep made the Jeep Cherokee (model designation XJ). Options included either 4 doors or 2, a shitty 4-banger, shitty V6 and finally the glorious 4.0L engine. You could have it with an automatic or manual, 4WD or RWD. Quite an awesome vehicle.

I live in the North, we don't see the RWD SUV's or Pickups unless its an S10 or old.
We only see 4x4 Jeeps, and what not.....Heading about a RWD one makes me feel all weird inside.

most cherokee's though were 4x4 and you can't tell them apart visually, I just think its amazing you hadn't seen a cherokee before.

Yep, 1996 Jeep Cherokee Sport. 4x4, 5 speed, 4.0L, 'Merica (well except for it's French lineage but hey the French helped us win the revolution so that's 'Merica too I guess... whoa tangent).
Where in the North do you live!? I live in New England (Mass.) and they really are everywhere. You can't drive 5 miles without seeing one, even though they stopped making them in 2004. Awesome, awesome trucks. As long as they don't rust out, you can expect to put 300K miles on them.

Nice! I always say "I'm not going to sticker this car up, I'm not going to sticker this car..." and yeah, I always wind up putting some stickers on the windows. Usually the far back side windows because those are generally useless for visibility anyhow.

I need to find a picture of my Scirocco I had in high school. That thing was plastered with them. I learned my lesson after getting pulled over by the 5-0 ALL THE TIME. Removed stickers, drove a little slower, crickets

Oh you must have seen regular Cherokees then, they are definitely all over NH. You probably just didn't realize they were different than the Grand Cherokees. But hey, now you have a fun car spotting game to play!

I saw a Chief something once.
I've always paid attention, and can't remember seeing a regular Cherokee haha
All the ones I've driven or owrked on have been Grand Cherokees.

My first car was an '81 Rabbit that came with an "England get out of Ireland" sticker which I left on. Got pulled over a couple times by cops thinking I was IRA.

Seriously? Wow. They churned out over 2,000,000 of them. Yep you could have them without 4WD as well. Same thing goes for the Grand Cherokee.

That's unbelievable. I couldn't count how many I've seen.
